Summary
The primary purpose was to bring together, to live together in a single large area, ten diverse rural tribes of Kenya. Each tribal household villager would recreate his total rural home environment in Ngomongo Villages and subsequently live in that household and carry out his daily chores in this household as he would if he were in his rural homestead a thousand kilometers away. Such a collection of ten most diverse rural Kenya tribal homestead in one place would give a visitor to the village a total walk - through, overview of rural life in Kenya. As summarised by " David and Maurene, England" in the village visitor's book comment...... " Pure magic. All of Kenya in one spot"

The villagers themselves would live in harmony with each other to learn about the other Kenyan cultures and in the process learn to respect their diverse cultural differences. When they go back home on "leave", they broadcast Ngomongo Villages tribal harmony.

A secondary purpose arose out of the need to create a forest inside which to integrate the rural villages. (Rural Kenya households are in fairly well forested areas or cleared forest areas). A quarry was most ideal but this had to be reclaimed first hence the secondary purpose of reclaiming a quarry.

We have achieved both purposes by reclaiming a barren sixteen acres quarry completely, over an extended nine year's period. We have achieved our primary purpose also by creating a rural Kenya ten tribal homesteads village, each homestead as complete to the corresponding rural area homestead as possible.

We have also succeeded in getting Kenyan's and other world citizens to come and experience our achievements.
