El Agora
El Agora was formed to provide a platform for action and reflection
on the underlying principles of public safety. The focus of the
organization’s vision is to eliminate social exclusion, violence,
discrimination and stereotypes.
Strategies include creating mechanisms within existing social networks,
and promoting growth of new networks that can generate opportunities
to develop effective structures / institutions.
To achieve its goals El Agora organizes public dialogues in bars,
cinemas, legislative bodies, university classrooms, museums, schools,
public squares, etc. This helps to improve the safety of public
meeting places.
Services
Consultancy, Advice, In-service training.
We offer advice, consultancy services, and technical assistance
to public and/or private bodies in planning and carrying out activities,
programs and projects related to public affairs.
We are part of, and promote the establishment of national and international
networks of people, institutions and organizations, within or outside
governments, which carry out activities and/or research in the field
of civic participation.
We design and carry out human-resource training as well as promote
national, regional and international meetings.
We provide information related to studies, programs, experiences,
and research by experts and related groups, at local, national and
international levels.
We promote the production, transfer and dissemination of knowledge
in the field of public participation and interaction. We also present
projects for exchanges, network participation and publications.
